Burgers are huge in London! There are endless pop ups, street vendors and new independent restaurants all claiming that theirs is up there with the best, but only a small handful have repeatedly been given the title of one of London’s best burgers by Londoners and the media alike.
Bleecker St. Burgers is definitely up there in the top five. Their delicious, juicy patties topped with their enormous seeded buns have proved to be a favourite amongst loyal foodies.
On the weekend, I made my way to Old Spitalfields to track down the Bleecker St van for an alternative Sunday lunch. Of course, I wasn’t disappointed. With one bite it’s easy to see why this juicy feast has been labelled one of the best.
The succulent British meat, paired with melt-in-your-mouth American cheese and a slightly charred, sweet bun provide the perfect burger combination. Pair that with a side of their delicious sweet potato fries and you’re on to a winner. It’s basically a one-way ticket to burger heaven. Just sit back and enjoy.
Don’t take my word for it, I’m pretty sure the pictures speak for themselves. Or if you want to jump on the Bleecker St Burger band wagon, find them at Old Spitalfields market Mon-Sun.
